Sosuke Miyoshi was born in Hiroshima, and earned his Ph.D. in hematopoietic stem cell research from Prof. Hiro Nakauchi, MD, Ph.D at the University of Tsukuba who currently works as a professor of Stem Cell Research Instutite at Stanford University. 

Sosuke researched on Bioengineering at the University of Washington in Seattle as a Ph.D fellow from 2003–2005, and then he worked as a senior director of Bio-imaging research lab in Drug discovery research at Astellas Pharma Inc. as well as a professor of the Cooperative Graduate School Program at University of Tsukuba until March 2019.

Now, Sosuke is the professor and creative manager of Headquarters for International Industry-University Collaboration at University of Tsukuba.

・Development of University-originated research seed commercialization implementation program utilizing Silicon Valley base for University of Tsukuba. 
・Open Innovation International Strategy Organization, planning, management, and operation of a large-scale“Organization” vs. “Organization”partnership project with a company at the University of Tsukuba. 
・2016-2018 Biodistribution team leader, Forum for Innovative Regenerative Medicine, Pluripotent stem cell safety evaluation committee, and AMED Multicenter research on evaluation of tumorigenicity of cell products.

    1. Development of PET technology for cancer treatment strategy decision.
    2. Development of PET diagnostic iamging as a regenerative medicine navigator.
